2003 MargaritaSaturday, 2.23.07: Week In Review

It's Margarita Party Day on Planet Susan, so I'm writing my Week In Review in advance, planning for the morrow's hangover.

Party means housecleaning and getting food & drink lined up. I think that's all under control.

The party is just for grlzzzz (though Jim will be lurking about). Most of my friends are either lesbians or in some state of frustration, revolt, or separation from their men (and/or need them to do the babysitting). It's just easier to gather up women without worrying about making the guys happy. See: "Margarita's Against the Madness" — one of the great ones.

I'm sentimental about this little movie of one of the very first margarita parties. It is also the first movie I made, using masked Photoshop images, Adobe Premiere, and an Aretha Franklin track. Primitive but all mine...

Ireland. We bit the bullet and got our car rental and B&B package yesterday. I'm glad we could get automatic transmission — one less thing to worry about.

Not much else going on, except for my obsession about facial hair, cell phones and Palm devices.
