DISPATCHED FROM THE CROSSROADS, AT THE INTERSECTION OF CONFUSION & SEMI-COHERENCE
Saturday, 3.11.06: Week In Review
A crazy week --
Workmen tramped through our townhouse, establishing their tools in the ground floor garage, ripping apart the powder room on the first floor, gutting the bathroom on the second floor, and now and then needing to use the bathroom off our bedroom. Not a hiding place left.
I split my time between diddling around on the computer, panicking over the upstairs bathroom design and getting into the act myself by doing some wall & tile repairs in the third bath.
On other fronts:
...Gave Maria a timeline for a Cosmo Production she's going to take the lead on.
...Worked up a proposal for another web site design job.
...Listed about 15 antique stereo views and 30 vintage postcards on Ebay. Did some modest business out of the store.
Last night we went to Carol's 40th birthday party. All my babies are growing up! Carol began working with me in 1990 at the Institution, when she was just a kid. I wasn't always the best boss, but through good times and bad, we managed to become friends.
