DISPATCHED FROM THE CROSSROADS, AT THE INTERSECTION OF work & waiting
Saturday, 8.19.06: Week In Review
It was a restless week here on Planet Susan — seems like I spent a good deal of it waiting for something to happen.
Quirky cartoon above evolved in the meantime.
Gandhi article. Newspaper editor wants to "talk to me about it" but has been too busy to have a conversation.
Ebay auctions. Hardly anything sold. Terrible time of year. A few store sales — always waiting for my "End Transaction" mailbox to pop up.
B.O.R.E.D. Meeting on Wednesday — my special group of 5 women. Since I volunteered Maria's house-pool-hot tub, I brought a lot of food. Giant amount of salad greens left over, which I guess I'll be eating till my poop turns green since Jim's not a salad guy.
Darwin. Finished our book list edits. Jim and I put our heads together about a letter to a big bookseller, which I emailed off Friday morning. More waiting.
Thumbs Up if you liked this entry.
