Saturday, 4.15.06: Week In Review

My mind got exercised this week flitting between various kinds of projects .

Recordist job. The big story of the week. I got back into my techie equipment and successfully got the job done. My boss in New Mexico even gave me a bonus. The big bonus of course was to get me thinking about the philosophy and discipline of nonviolence.

Maria and I also met with an old filmmaking colleague to talk over ideas for a little video on women in leadership. I don't think we got too far, but the conversation was fun.

Cloister Initials by Fred W Goudy

Ebay. Good auction week. A little 1926 ski supply catalog sold for $50 and my printers type for $133. The ski postcards are continuing to sell well. This keeps me packing and puttering and checking to see how much money I've made. But somehow I didn't get around to getting any more listings done.

Bathroom door abomination: The saga continues. Now it seems like an excuse to buy a lot lof acrylic paints and gel mediums and inspirational books, but I think I keep making the actual door worse. But what use is experimentation without disasters (I keep telling myself)?
