Watch this video, which premiered yesterday at the Clinton Global Initiative. It is from Girl Effect. It’s about the global impact of assisting 12-year-old girls to stay in school. I’m inspired. Decided to give a donation, dedicated to my dad, who died 5 years ago today and was the kind of father every girl should have.
Thanks to GOOD for spreading the word.

Keeping girls in school isn’t nearly as problematic as the boys. Seriously. Having said that, sounds like a good cause.
I know what you’re saying from a pure drop-out perspective. But globally many think that empowering girls is the “low hanging fruit” of economic development. Anyway, as one who benefited enormously from girl-focused education, I’m simpatico.
