Amid various projects, we’re thinking about a long September vacation — another roadtrip out West. My eyes are focusing on southern Utah — Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Escalante National Monument. Grand scenery.
I haven’t found a special artsy destination like the Taos-Santa Fe pilgrimage we did last year. So we may just mosey along gawking at the views. Between the geological formations and the ancient Native American sites, it boggles my mind to hone in on a route.
Once in Utah, I’m thinking north to the Salt Lake area, angle up through Yellowstone (Wyoming), make a pass through Montana and South Dakota. I want to see it all!
