Voices Across Time and Space

I’ve been preoccupied this week with voices across time and space in my production work, reading, and online communicating. It seems fitting that this morning Jim and I tuned the kitchen computer to the spacewalk at the Hubble telescope (NASA TV). We chopped vegetables and listened to astronauts talking back and forth with Houston as they laboriously tightened some bolts. You couldn’t really see much — it was all about the voices.

It gets a little mystical if you think about it — all those invisible waves traveling through space, reaching our ears within moments.

The day here is warm, but stormy.

One Response to Voices Across Time and Space

  1. Pat says:

MYSTICAL is good! Makes you believe that anything is possible, doesn’t it.
