After I wrote descriptions for the last 10-15 items in the African collection, I switched gears back to potential ebay sales and the bottomless Hollywood shelf. I scanned in about 50 8×10 publicity photos of 1930’s and 1940’s movie stars. These aren’t too valuable. Photos that teenage girls pasted into black-paged albums or that theater owners tacked in their front windows. What Jim paid about $3 for back in the 90’s, I’ll make about $10 (each) — if and when they sell. Sometimes I wonder if this is worth my time, but the dribble of dollars does add up.
