I decided to dig out some of my vintage writing. Oh, Lordy. Zip disks: I do have a USB zip drive somewhere. Micro Diskettes: ohmigosh, neither of my newest computers have A: drives. Whew, Jim’s computer still does.
Guess I have a project for myself copying this old stuff onto CDs or DVDs.
I also have hundreds of gorgeous travel photos in Kodak’s obsolete Photo CD format. I do have a Photoshop plug-in to convert them, but the process is slow.
Oh-oh… and I have some precious things on VHS. Better do something about that before my last tape player dies. At least our LPs are gone.
