I was glued to my chair all day trying to finish up the loose ends on “Passion and Peril.” I think it would be good to have a Kindle version available for all those folks who get Kindles for Christmas and want some good trash to read on it. Took all my concentration to proof-read the last few chapters, then went crazy trying to get my Indesign file reformated into no-CSS HTML. No can-do. I had to copy-paste the whole thing back into Word in order to totally simplify it but still keep a few basics like bold and italic. And of course the only instructions anywhere are a few lines of nonsense, which amount to “see the other instructions.”
Is this keeping my mind nimble… or just driving me to drink?
