Thanksgiving

Quiet day. We cooked — recipes with lots of ingredients, chopping and measuring + a few conveniences. Baked a pumpkin pie: Pillsbury crust and recipe from Libby’s pumpkin can. Cool whip. Made one of our favorite vegetable stews… turnips, parsnips, brussel sprouts, potatoes, etc in kind of a sauerbraten sauce — a winter’s delight for veggie lovers. So, traditional, non-traditional. Thankful for life’s bounty. (Oh, and I made pancakes for breakfast!)
