Week in Review
My first full week back from vacation and my mind is still jumping from project to project, without finding much focus. Well, I've been here before, so I know I just need to play it out.
Writing. Continuing my revision of The Underground Athletic Club, now referred to as UAX. It is a very enjoyable process to reimagine the same plot set in a different future. I settle into it, then flit away.
Social networking. I'm getting involved with a group of (mostly) women "creative entrepreneurs" seeking their "global niche." Between their discussions and arguing politics on Facebook I can lose hours of time. Then I find myself over on Huffington Post, making comments there and wondering how many comments I have to make to get a contributor badge. Is this positive?
Blogging. Meanwhile the Mad In Pursuit blog has devolved into a mishmash of odds and ends, without an audience in mind. I really have to decide what to do with it. It's a good place for short writing, which can be either pure practice or the "compost heap" for something else in the future. I need to get some discipline and plan out some topics in advance.
Routine. Got the month of March going with bill-paying, refilling the refrigerator with food, getting back to gym workouts. Trying to keep up my morning walks, but my walking boots are scrunching my bunion.
Entertainment. Caught up with Season 1 of "Game of Thrones" on HBO... something different.
