Cartoon Class

I had my first class in cartooning last night, at the local art museum. The instructor seems cool — has made his living off his illustrations for 30 years.

There are only 6 people in the class — all introverts, so it was very quiet. I tried talking to a cute 10th-grader, but he just looked at me like I had two heads. The class has begun as a good refresher for basic drawing. Mostly we just sat there and "sketched our character." I wouldn't have minded doing some show and tell but everyone was crouched over their tiny drawings and it seemed sort of rude to start looking over the shoulders of fellow introverts.
